Gardening Blog of the Week – An Artist’s Garden

by Ian Daniels on September 29, 2009

An Artist’s Garden is an amazing journal that charts the goings on in one woman’s back garden, namely, artist and keen horticulturist Karen.

As you’d perhaps expect from an artist, everything is presented beautifully on this blog and there are is a seemingly endless amount of stunning photography to appreciate.

Creativity certainly isn't in short supply at An Artist's Garden

Karen has a very funny and engaging writing style, which makes all her posts incredibly entertaining. She also uses her skills as an artist to add individual touches like the ‘Artist’s Garden Comic Strip’ (pictured).

An Artist’s Garden has recently been nominated for Best UK Gardening Blog by Blotanical, which is the highest award in the world of garden blogging. Of course, this doesn’t surprise anyone at Dobbies, as we’ve known for a long time just how good Karen’s blog is.

This is one of my very favourite blogs too :D

It’s great to see Karen getting the recognition she deserves this week.
