Gardening Blog of the Week – Dan The Gardener

by Ian Daniels on November 5, 2009

Dan The Gardener, along with his group of trusty friends, is here to educate children (and adults) about how we can all respect nature and help the environment.

Dan The Gardener and his group of friends have plenty to tell you about nature and the environment.

Dan The Gardener and his group of friends have plenty to tell you about nature and the environment.

This blog is literally crammed full of useful information that’s easy to understand, great activities to help children learn more about the planet and a selection of fun games to enjoy.

Whether you want to find out more about how compost is made or join the ‘Bugs Club’ to receive top-secret facts, there’s plenty to see and learn.

The design of the Dan The Gardener site is incredibly kid-friendly, with lots of bright colours and animations to help maintain children’s attention.

This is a site like no other and because of the great work it does in helping youngsters understand more about the planet (much like Dobbies own Little Seedlings Club) it just had to be our Gardening Blog of the Week.
