Hi
Last year I visited Dobbies Stirling for a Charity Event to launch the Christmas Range. Are there any Charity Events planned for this year – I live in Renfrew but can travel a reasonable car journey to a Dobbies Charity Event!
Thanks
Beth McKerracher
My friend has told me that Santa Clause will be arriving at Dobbies Clyde Valley on 21st November at 11.30. Is this true? If so, I will come along with my little girls and a couple of their friends. It is my eldests, (Ishbelle) 6th birthday and I would love to confirm to her that she will see Santa on her special day. Thank you.
What is going wrong?
Rare it it that I am tempted to complain but we are do disappointed that I just had to find your details and get in touch. We have been regular visitors to Dobbies Clyde Vally and often borough family or visited with our 2 young children for a little shoping and always a spot of lunch. OK whilst service on a Saturday lunchtime was never perfect, food delivery was slow, but the staff were always present and the quality of the food great, hot baguette with steak or Cajun Chicken, simply the best!!! Even when the temporary restaurant was in use while the refurbishment was going on an acceptable service was offed. However, since the new restaurant has opened we have visited 3 times, the last 2 thinking the previous experience was a one off while things settle in. But each time we leave vowing never to return….
- Service, in all three occasions we waited over 40 minutes for a food order, on the last 2 occasions we only received food after complaining to staff, who seemed completely oblivious to what we were waiting on or why it was staking so long
The hot baguettes with steak and pepper sauce seem to have diapered and when we ordered what we thought was the Cajun chicken on a baguette we got a baguette with a little cold Cajun sauce and s few peaces of cold chicken, what a riff off!!
- The children’s sandwiches seem to now come without any margarine on them making them dry and not at all appetising to young children.
Come on guys get your act together, you used to do better and a visit with lunch was generally a treat and an enjoyable experience, now its just nightmare waiting far to long with 2 young children for for what is now extremely poor quality food is juts not good enough

Dear Graham,
Thank you for taking the time to share your experiences of Dobbies Clyde Valley restaurant.
We are pleased that you have enjoyed the restaurant in the past, but obviously disappointed that your service has not met expectations in recent visits.
I will pass your feedback to Dobbies Head Office, and we hope in future visits you enjoy a better experience.
Can you please tell me where I can purchase the man’s torso (head, shoulders and arms) garden ornament which a friend saw and sent me a photo of. Can you tell me what it is called. Many thanks
