What’s going on at Dobbies Garden Centre Dalgety Bay?
This Christmas Dobbies Garden Centres are helping raise money for Starlight Children’s Foundation – a national charity that brightens the lives of seriously ill children across the UK.
Dobbies Dalgety Bay are helping to sponsor Kyle’s wish!
Seven year old Kyle was diagnosed in 2003 with Cerebral Palsy. This severely affects the bottom half of his body and means that Kyle has to use a wheelchair for mobility as he is unable to walk on his own.
His once in a lifetime Starlight wish is to go to Disneyland Paris.
Kyle’s mum says, “He absolutely loves theme parks. He is limited in what he can take part in because of his mobility but he can go on most of the rides at theme parks with either me or his dad and he loves this. It would be great if we could take him to Disneyland Paris.”

Would you like some festive cheer and music at your Reindeer parade on Sunday 20th Nov? The Forth Bridges Accordion Band (Boness) are a community marching band. We currently have around 50 members from the age of 3 to 70. As a community group our aim is to “provide our local community with the performance and teaching of music”. We perform all over Scotland at gala days and are currently preparing for our Christmas season. We currently perform at all of Falkirk Councils light switch on Cermonies amoung other areas. If interested in having the band along to add some music to your festive celebrations please contact us.
