What’s going on at Dobbies Garden Centre Shepton Mallet?
This Christmas Dobbies Garden Centres are helping raise money for Starlight Children’s Foundation – a national charity that brightens the lives of seriously ill children across the UK.
Dobbies Shepton Mallet are helping to make Sasha’s wish come true!
16 year old Sasha is from Bristol. She was diagnosed in 2006 with Turner Syndrome, a rare chromosomal abnormality, and then, two years later, she was diagnosed with ACC – a rare condition affecting the communication between the two hemispheres of the brain. In February this year she was diagnosed with Rhabdomyosarcoma, a fast‐growing, highly malignant tumour.
To battle the cancer, Sasha has had to undergo intensive chemotherapy and radiotherapy treatment. Yet, despite these difficulties, Sasha has been very brave throughout and even won a Well Child Bravery Award earlier this year.
Sasha’s Starlight wish is to go to the Britain’s Got Talent live show ‐ her mum says this is because she absolutely loves music and the show.
