Gazebo lights add atmosphere to an evenings entertainment outdoors

Gazebo lights will brighten your evening as the sun fades away, prolonging the life of your nights entertainment outdoors.

Illuminating your gazebo will add atmosphere to time spent relaxing, dining or partying in your gazebo. Subtle lighting will emit a warm glow and create a relaxing environment. Flashing lights say “time to party” and brighter lighting will avoid any accidents in the dark. Twinkling lights can transform your gazebo in to a fairytale wonderland for the children.

Gazebo lights transform the space inside a gazebo at night, but they also prove useful on the outside. Lights provide direction for lost guests trying to find their way to the party. From a distance a creatively lit gazebo can provide a spectacular sight. With the right lights you can change your gazebo in to a night time garden feature to admire, or a Christmas grotto for the kids.

Before you rush in and cover your gazebo in lights there are a few practical issues to be aware of.

Safety

As most gazebo lights rely on electric it is important to treat them like any other outdoor electrical product. When you first install them make sure that they are secure and safe. Keep them well away from water, and do not remove any bulbs without unplugging them.

Make sure there are no loose wires and cover any wires that are exposed, this will avoid people getting caught in them. If your nearest power source is the house, consider how you will connect your lights. Will you need to dig a trench? Is it worth adding a power source to your gazebo?

Solar Gazebo Lights

A great solution to mains power connection problems is solar powered gazebo lights. Solar lighting cells charge a battery during the day when the sun’s shining. The lights automatically turn on using the stored power when it gets dark. You can get around 8-10 hours of night light if your solar gazebo lights get a decent amount of direct sunlight during the day. They also offer a more environmental option to lighting your gazebo.

I’m looking for lights to string along the front of my shop in the dark evenings/days of winter. I would like something larger than fairy lights, ie normal bulb size on a 10meter long wire. i can then put the plug through and switch on from inside.

Can you help please?

Hello Anne,

Our Premier 40 Large Bulbs Multi-Function Outdoor Christmas Lights should do the job. You can see the full details here:

Otherwise there a few alternative LED and shaped bulb options in our outdoor Christmas lights section.

Hope that helps.

All the best
