Portable barbecues

A portable barbecue gives you the freedom to eat al-fresco on the patio, pontoon or beach.

It can be taken on camping trips, picnics or even to festivals. Portable barbecues provide the fun and convenience of cooking outdoors, without the waste of disposable barbecues or the hassle of larger barbecues.

Most portable barbecues are fuelled by charcoal, but gas and electric versions are available. From a trendy Weber Smokey Joe to the basic but brilliant bucket barbecues, there are plenty of mobile barbecues to help you party on the move.

If you want to smoke a freshly caught trout by the river, have a few beef bangers on the beach or just want a grill for two in the garden. Portable barbecues match many different outdoor dining occasions.

There isn’t really any downside with portable barbecues, so long as that’s what they are used for. They are designed for convenience and day trips but probably won’t suit large parties and regular use.

So, if you’re a bit of a barbecue enthusiast it is probably wise to invest in a portable barbecue as well as a sturdier, more permanent barbecue. Then there’s no excuse for not eating outdoors when the weather is wonderful.
