Gardening Blog of the Week – Veg Plotting

Veg Plotting describes itself as ‘Musings on life in the heart of rural Wiltshire’ but the appeal of this blog stretches far further afield, a point emphasised by its recent inclusion in the BBC’s Countryfile Magazine.

Veg Plotting: Musing on life in the heart of rural Wiltshire. Well, erm Chippenham actually...

This hugely popular blog started life as a simple diary of events from one woman’s allotment, but has since developed into a far more extensive gardening resource.

Whether you want to find out about gardening events in your area or hear an anecdote about a neighbour’s toxic plants, there’s always something worth reading.

As you’d probably expect from a blog called ‘Veg Plotting’ there are also plenty of tips on growing vegetables, as well as recipes for delicious meals you can prepare using them.

The blog is incredibly easy to navigate with lots of categories and labels that ensure you can explore the massive wealth of content with just a few simple clicks. And because the author publishes a post a day, there’s always plenty to read!

What’s also really nice about Veg Plotting is that it lists a huge selection of other gardening blogs, which is incredibly useful if you’re looking to find an expert on a particular subject.

Whatever you could possibly want from a gardening blog, you’ll probably find it at Veg Plotting, and that’s what makes Veg Plotting our choice this week for Gardening Blog of the Week.

Hi Ian – thanks for a great write-up! :D

By another strange coincidence, I’ve also been working on a Dobbies write-up. I hope you like it.
